
Looking for 2010 summer volunteers and staff to live on site and be a part of the Ross Creek/ Two Planks experience. To help us create an amazing summer full of theatrical magic, we need your help. We are looking for Box Office Assistants, Ushers, Canteen leaders, PR and Marketing help and many other jobs, starting now. For more information and to volunteer, contact programs@artscentre.ca.
Come join our voluntent community! We have a few places for volunteers who want to spend some cool time around lots of artists on our spectacular landscape. We welcome international volunteers with varying levels of experience.
Kitchen Assistant: (volunteer) a chance to gain first skills in the kitchen under two wonderful professionals, using local ingredients. Learn how a kitchen works and be part of the magic of feeding people!
Garden Assistant (Volunteer) Get down and dirty in the Ross Creek/ Two Planks beautiful organic garden and help us raise our chickens to feed the community on site!
Community Life Assistant: (Volunteer) an aspiring artist who loves the theatre and the arts who can be an integral part of making Ross Creek the best place it can be for all artists, campers and theatre folks. Duties will vary according to the week and needs of all programs, including light construction, driving, box office support and camp life.
Picnic Coordinator (paid)
We have an opportunity for a picnic coordinator - someone to create and serve picnics for our visitors to the summer theatre.
The job requires making and serving crepes (training provided) with indredients from our gardens and beyond, selling wine and treats during intermission and being a great ambassador for the centre and the theatre. The position runs for 5-6 weeks in the summer. Ideal candidates will have some food and/or serving experience and enjoy working with people.
